CONFERENCE REGULATIONS

General Provisions

§1

The Organiser of TestWarez Conference, further referred to as the Conference, is Stowarzyszenie Jakości Systemów Informatycznych [Polish Testing Board] with the registered office in Warsaw at ul. Poznańska 16 office 4, entered into the Register of Associations of the District Court for the Capital City of Warsaw in Warsaw under the National Court Register Number KRS 0000175199, further referred to as the Organiser.
The Conference shall be held from 14th to 16th November 2018 in Nosalowy Dwór Hotel in Zakopane, however the first day of the conference shall fully consist of workshops; the second and third days constitute the Conference as such.

§2

The main goal of the Conference is to integrate the community of people dealing n software testing and quality by creating a forum for experience exchange and encouragement of discussion about issues related to software testing.

Announcements and information about the Conference are published on the Conference website testwarez.pl, FB profile https://www.facebook.com/events/971336673026669, Twitter https://twitter.com/TestWarez, and LinkedIn https://www.linkedin.com/showcase/testwarez/

Attendance Terms and Conditions

§4

The conditions of attendance are as follows:

Correct completion and submission of the attendance request form via Konfeo.com registration system at https://testwarez2018.konfeo.com
acceptance of a submission by the Organiser in the form of a confirmation sent to the email address supplied by the participant in the submission form;
payment of the registration fee.

§5

Due to the procedure related to booking accommodation in Nosalowy Dwór Hotel in Zakopane, free of charge resignation or exchange of a Participant for another person is possible within the strict deadline of 2nd November 2018 and the details of the new Participant shall have been sent to the Organiser by this date by email to the address kontakt@testwarez.pl and confirmed in reply message.

§6

The Conference attendance fee is as follows:
1. Within the first deadline, i.e. until 16th September 2018:
  1. 990 PLN for Participants, who hold at least one ISTQB® Certificate – Certified Tester – Foundation Level or paid SJSI membership premium for the current year;
  2. 1,090 PLN for Participant without a certificate
2. Within the second deadline, i.e. until 17th September 2018 until submissions are closed or the tickets pool is exhausted:
  1. 1,080 PLN for Participants, who hold at least one ISTQB® Certificate – Certified Tester – Foundation Level or paid SJSI membership premium for the current year
  2. 1,190 PLN for Participants without a certificate.
Participation in workshops is only possible jointly with Conference attendance. Conference attendance fee jointly with the Workshops is:
1. Within the first deadline, i.e. until 16th September 2018:
  1. 1,625 PLN for Participants, who hold at least one ISTQB® Certificate – Certified Tester – Foundation Level or paid SJSI membership premium for the current year, who want to participate in two short workshops or one long workshop
  2. 1,795 PLN for Participants without a certificate, who want to participate in two short workshops or one long workshop
  3. 1,925 PLN for Participants, who hold at least one ISTQB® Certificate – Certified Tester – Foundation Level or paid SJSI membership premium for the current year, who want to participate in one long workshop conducted by Joel Oliveira
  4. 2,095 PLN for Participant without a certificate, who want to participate in one long workshop conducted by Joel Oliveira
2. Within the second deadline, i.e. until 17th September 2018 until submissions are closed or the tickets pool is exhausted:
  1. 1,775 PLN for Participants, who hold at least one ISTQB® Certificate – Certified Tester – Foundation Level or paid SJSI membership premium for the current year, who want to participate in two short workshops or one long workshop
  2. 1,965 PLN for Participants without a certificate, who want to participate in two short workshops or one long workshop
  3. 2,075 PLN for Participants, who hold at least one ISTQB® Certificate – Certified Tester – Foundation Level or paid SJSI membership premium for the current year, who want to participate in one long workshop conducted by Joel Oliveira
  4. 2,265 PLN for Participant without a certificate, who want to participate in one long workshop conducted by Joel Oliveira

NOTE: All prices supplied above are net prices, VAT at 23% rate shall be added to them.

The attendance fee shall be transferred to the Organiser’s bank account within 14 days from the registration on the basis of proforma invoice issued during registration by Konfeo.com registration system.
Registrations for which invoices are not paid within the deadline given above and the Participant does not inform the Organiser about this shall be cancelled.
VAT invoices shall be supplied to interested Participants during the Conference or sent by mail to the specified mailing address after its closure.

§7

The number of places for Conference and Workshops Participants is limited.
The Organiser will supply for sale the pool of 140 places within the first deadline (i.e. until 16th September 2018) and 305 places within the second deadline (i.e. from 17th September 2018).
Acceptance of submissions shall be closed on 2nd November 2018 or the moment the pool of available places runs out.
The moment the pool of places for the Conference within the second deadline runs out, the remaining available places for workshops shall be given for sale.

§8

The number of places for events taking place within the Conference is limited, which concerns mainly the workshops, the maximum currently available number of places is supplied in the Participant’s registration form in Konfeo.com system.

§9

The Organiser shall provide to the Conference Participants the following:

meals during the Conference;
accommodation from 15th to 16th November 2018 in double rooms in Nosalowy Dwór Hotel in Zakopane. Participant can send by email to hotel@testwarez.pl a suggestion of the first name and last name of another Conference Participant as a person they wish to be placed in the same room with. The suggestion shall be sent until 2nd November 2018 at the latest. If the second person to be placed in the same room is not indicated, such a person will be selected by the Organiser. The Organiser does not guarantee that the accommodation will follow the supplied suggestion.
There is a limited number of single rooms. Participants, who wish to get accommodation in a single room, undertake to send suitable information to the following address kontakt@testwarez.pl until 2nd November 2018. After room availability is confirmed by the Organiser, an additional fee of 300 PLN net for one night from 15th to 16th November shall be made or 475 PLN net for two nights from 14th to 16th November (VAT at 23% rate shall be added).
Participation in the banquet on 15th November 2018.

§10

The Organiser shall additionally provide to Workshop Participants the following:

Meals on 14th November 2018;
Accommodation from 14th to 15th November 2018 in double rooms in Nosalowy Dwór Hotel in Zakopane. Participant can send by email to hotel@testwarez.pl a suggestion of the first name and last name of another Conference Participant as a person they wish to be placed in the same room with. The suggestion shall be sent until 2nd November 2018 at the latest. If the second person to be placed in the same room is not indicated, such a person will be selected by the Organiser. The Organiser does not guarantee that the accommodation will follow the supplied suggestion;
Participation in integration evening on 14th November 2018.

Participant’s obligations:

A Participant who sings up for a workshop is obliged to get prepared according to the requirements published on the official Conference website in the workshop description;
1. If a workshop requires passing a verification test in advance, the Participant is also obliged to take it and send the results within the specified deadline. All information shall be supplied by email to the email address given during registration.
2. If a Participant does not obtain the acceptance of the person conducting a workshop on the basis of the preliminary test, they are entitled to signing up to another workshop or refund of the charged fee.
The Organiser reserves the right not to allow a Participant to a workshop, who has not met the requirements o the workshop they have signed up to.

§11

Sending a submission form via Konfeo.com registration system is equivocal with acceptance of the regulations of Nosalowy Dwór Hotel in Zakopane.
Sending a submission form via Konfeo.com registration system is equivocal with consent for dissemination of the Participant’s image for Conference promotional purposes, in particular publishing photos taken during the Conference on the Internet.
Registration form includes consent for sending an invitation to Slack communicator, which will enable Participants to communicate with one another, with Speakers, or Organisers before and during the Conference. The consent is voluntary.

§12

Participants will not be given any remuneration on account of the consents granted and use of the above-mentioned materials.

Conference Course

§13

Registration of Workshops Participants and the Workshops shall be held in Nosalowy Dwór Hotel in Zakopane on 14th November 2018.
Registration of Conference Participants shall take place in Nosalowy Dwór Hotel in Zakopane on 15th November 2018.
The Conference shall be held in Nosalowy Dwór Hotel in Zakopane on 15th and 16th November 2018.
The integration meeting for the Conference Participants shall take place on 15th November (Thursday) in the evening in Nosalowy Dwór Hotel in Zakopane.

§14

Detailed Conference programme (agenda) shall be published on the Conference website www.TestWarez.pl

Personal Data

§15

By accepting these Regulations, the Participant gives consent to the Participant’s personal data processing by the Organiser supplied during submission of the registration form.
The Organiser is the administrator of the Participant’s personal data.
The Organiser shall process the Participant’s personal data solely for the purpose of providing the services specified within the scope of these Regulations, including in particular all services included in TestWarez 2018 Conference. In the case if the Participant has given consent in separate forms, the Organiser may process their personal data for marketing purposes. The Organiser shall also process personal data in order to fulfil their legal obligations, in particular the rules governing tax obligations.
The Participant’s personal data shall be processed pursuant to the provisions of the Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (Official Journal of the European Union of 2016 No. 119, page 1) and pursuant to the provisions of the Personal Data Protection Act dated 10 May 2018 (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1000).
Supplying personal data by the Participant is voluntary. Lack of consent for the Participant’s personal data processing by the Organiser shall make it impossible for the Participant to attend TestWarez 2018 Conference.
The Organiser may transfer Participant’s personal data to their subcontractors as well as entities providing hospitality and catering services in order to provide the services specified in these Regulations. In such a case the service provider that will be given the Participant’s personal data becomes their administrator.
Participants’ personal data shall be stored for one year from the date of closing of TestWarez 2018 Conference. In the case of Participants who have given consent to personal data processing for marketing purposes, the personal data shall be processed until the consent has been revoked.
Each Participant is entitled to access to their personal data, correcting them, deleting them, or restricting their processing. Moreover, each Participant is entitled to filing an objection against processing and the right to move the data. Access to the data is possible in the Organiser’s registered office. Additionally, the Organiser make available email address kontakt@testwarez.pl through which contact concerning personal data can be made.
Each Participant may lodge a complaint in relation to personal data processing. The complaint shall be lodged to the supervisory body, which is the President of the Personal Data Protection Office, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warszawa.
The Organiser shall not transfer Participants’ personal data outside EEA.
The Organiser shall not make automated decisions on the basis of personal data, including but not limited to profiling.

Final Provisions

§16

The Organiser reserves the right to the correct interpretation of these Regulations as well as giving additional instructions.
The Organiser shall not be held responsible for personal or material injuries, which may occur before, during or after the Conference closure.
Participants shall be held fully responsible for correctness of supplied data, in particular contact details.
Any promotion activity organised during the Conference, in particular advertising own business and recruiting employees can by conducted solely with the Organiser’s consent.
The Hotel stipulates that consumption of alcohol in catering rooms, which has been purchased outside the Hotel is prohibited.
The Hotel does not give consent to catering of parties and events organised by third entities on the Hotel’s property.
