IN A WORLD FULL OF BUGS, EXPLORE LIKE BEAR GRYLLS

I will discuss a testing tool that is used by almost everyone, but not everyone has read the documentation and some of the available functionalities remain unused. This tool is our brain. We discuss how to use the perception and habits that we have developed (or neglected) in relation to the world around us and its details. How careful and sensitive must be Bear Grylls in an unknown environment? How does the tester fall into the trap when he feels for a moment that he already knows the part of the application he is working with? How to make the best use of what we know about our attention in our work?

Joanna Jeziorska

A graduate of psychology, who did not find her way to the IT world by accident. Already in her previous work (in HR and then at school) Joanna was interested in effective solutions and wanted to make it easier for herself to work with people using the available applications. While working at an international school in Central Asia (Tien Shan International School), Joanna was given the task of implementing an electronic journal. “Joanna brought our school in the twenty-first century” – she heard at the school meeting when she said goodbye to her life in Kazakhstan. After returning to Poland, she studied software development, thanks to which it has been 9 years since she has been involved in quality assurance. She has tested applications used by airlines and banks, and is currently testing the logistics platform. In her free time she trains with kettles.
