“Raising the bar”

We take care of the quality of our projects. We live in a world of new technologies. Our tasks require increasing of knowledge and continuous improvement of skills. Sounds familiar?

The bar is still rising. Fortunately, we also have a good place to have a break – a platform for exchanging knowledge that helps to overcome problems we are facing and develop ourselves (grow up?). Testers and software quality assurance specialists – Welcome to Testwarez.

WHY DO WE DO THIS?

There are many answers. We meet to discuss how to test the software, ensure quality and communicate effectively. To find inspiration and solutions. To learn new approaches, methods, trends and tools and talk about the future. And most importantly, to consider how to maintain high quality in a demanding and changing IT environment.

WHAT IS OUR TIME?

During the XIII edition (not unlucky at all!) we will discuss these and other issues together, exchanging experiences. We will answer your questions and look for ideas and initiatives. For the first time, new projects will be on show: the MobilQA track, focused on developing and testing mobile applications, and the Leadership track, dedicated to test managers and leaders. Taking into account your needs and postulates, we have also extended the offer of lectures in English. Moreover, among the topics you will find:

  • Successful automation implementations
  • Selection of testing strategies
  • Practical approach, own implementations: Shift Left, Scrum of Scrums, Lean and DevOps
  • Testing and auditing the safety of systems and applications
  • Blockchain
  • API testing e.g. Consumer-driven Contract Based Testing (e.g. PACT)
  • Non-functional tests

As you can see, the range of topics of the conference will be very broad. Among the speakers and participants you will find both beginner testers and experts with many years of experience. We are a place for all members of QA community. We are creating a space for comprehensive and constructive discussion considering many points of view.

Join the lectures, workshops and discussion panels. Exchange ideas and knowledge in the corridors. We will do our utmost to help you integrate with peers and collect new valuable experiences and contacts.

Clearly yes! If you read these words, it probably means that you are interested in issues related to testing and quality assurance of software. At Testwarez you will find the right balance between theory and practice;  topics for beginners and advanced professionals. Last year, 400 tickets were distributed within a few seconds. Registration of participants has not started yet, observe our social media so that you do not miss the beginning of the registration.

Testwarez Conference is organized by the Association of Quality of Information Systems. SJSI has been promoting and supporting the exchange of knowledge among quality assurance practitioners for 15 years. Testwarez 2018 is the thirteenth edition of the largest and oldest Polish conference focused on the area of software quality . See you in Zakopane!
